Dress For Success
Middle School 180 is a school that focuses on success. Over the past few years, the Leadership Team and the Parents Association spent considerable time discussing the dress code for the 2023-2024 school year. Asa result of these discussions, it was agreed upon by the parent body and the administration that we want our students to “Dress for Success”. We are preparing our children to be well-rounded productive adults who will make many contributions to our society. We want them to be competitive and ready for the workforce. With this in mind, we have come up with a dress code that is versatile and easy to comply with.
dress code letterStudents are to wear: A collared shirt and a solid-colored bottom.
HOODIES ARE CONSIDERED COATS AND SHOULD BE PLACED IN LOCKERS DURINGHOMEROOM.
STUDENTS SHOULD NEVER WEAR JEANS, CAMOUFLAGE PANTS, RIPPED OR CUT OFFGARMENTS, SHORTS, TANK TOPS, CROCS OR MULE TYPE SLIPPERS TO SCHOOL FORANY REASON
Gym Days
Plain Sweatpants Full Length- No Capris, Shorts, etc.
- No Writing, Emblems, Lettering or Designs on Sweatpants
- Colors: Black, Blue, or Gray ONLY.
Official Gym Shirt or Plain Tee Shirt
- No Writing, Emblems, Lettering or Designs on the Tee Shirt
- Colors: Black, Blue, or Gray ONLY.
RISE Points
dress code letterStudents will earn RISE points daily when they “Dress for Success”. Students that earn PBIS points each day will be rewarded throughout the school year. As we look at our children each morning, they are focused and coming to school ready to learn and do their best. We are proud of their accomplishments and achievements and encourage them to strive for excellence. We have observed that children who are dressed properly are more academically successful and exhibit better behavior.
We are asking for your help in making sure that your child is dressed properly for school each morning. We will continue to do our best to create a challenging, positive learning environment. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to call.
Uniforms can be purchased directly from the school. Only cash payments are accepted at this time.
